From the SVE Admin Team…
We are seeing many happy and refreshed faces here at Springvalley Elementary after a wonderful spring break. We are excited to see so much learning and growth as documented in the learning summaries! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed so generously to our PAC coin drive fundraiser before spring break! As a result of reaching our school fundraising goal of $1000, our grade 5 students had the opportunity to duct tape Mr. Drought and Mr. Van Brummelen to the wall of the gym! Congrats to the whole school for raising $1039.92. A special congratulations to Ms. Mulvaney's class who raised $217.95 and won a pizza party! Exciting times are ahead for our Grade 5 cohort of students who will be transitioning to middle school in September. To guide this transition and make the process smooth for our students, several opportunities are provided by Springvalley Middle School in the coming months. More information to follow - stay posted! A big THANK YOU to our PAC for providing new shirts for our choir! Also a big SHOUT OUT to Ms. Schjodt for all her extra work in organizing our SVE Talent Show where students get to share their amazing talents with our community! Parents are welcome to attend the Talent Show on April 17 at 12:15. |

We will: · Eat supper together · Play together with our children · Do arts and crafts with our children · Give you a “learning bag” for home ELFF is a FREE family event. If you have a child that is 3, 4 or 5 years old, please contact the school (250) 870-5119 to let us know how many family members will be attending our free ELFF event. We hope to see you then! |
